Application:
Apply before sun exposure. Apply evenly and thoroughly. Use a sunscreen with a sufficiently high SPF, even in the shade. Multiple applications of sunscreen do not extend the duration of protection; they maintain the protection.

Avoid intense midday sun. Apply before sun exposure. Reapply to maintain sun protection, especially after swimming. Apply sunscreen liberally; applying too little will reduce the level of protection. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF greater than 25) for babies and young children. Even sunscreens with high sun protection factors do not provide complete protection from UV rays. Do not stay in the sun for too long, even when using sunscreen. Excessive sun exposure poses a serious health risk. Do not expose infants and young children to direct sunlight.
