Nablus befindet sich nur ein paar Kilometer nördlich von Jerusalem und hat bereits tausende Jahre Erfahrung in der Herstellung ihrer einzigartigen Seifen, trotz aller historischen Schwierigkeiten. Nichtsdestotrotz gibt es heute nur noch 3 intakte Seifenmanufakturen (Zum Vgl.: In den 80er Jahren waren es noch über 20), welche bis heute in der politisch verfahrenen Situation überlebten.
